Vehicle Detail
Scout in mint condition. 57,500 original miles !!!! 345 Small Block V8 with a 3 speed Automatic. Took top off first time last summer. How did we get this: My husband made a trade with a friend of ours last year who had this vehicle sitting at his house not using it. He took it hunting a couple of times and has sat there ever since. Our friend got it from a man who he bought a trailer from and the man rarely drove it and he was from Oregon. My husband has the majority of the original paper work for the work done on the vehicle. It is in his office which he just moved so he has to hunt it down. We drove it when we first got it and we took the top off for the first time then. The top is clearly back on now. How Does It Run, This vehicle runs great. Hasd very little rust on it and the grey in the paint you see is NOT bondo. You can see in one of the pictures I put a magnet on it to prove it wasn't bondo (per my husbands intruction). The air conditioning needs a retro fit kit and to be recharged. The carburator works, but it needs to be replaced. Other than that the vehicle runs great. As with any older vehicle it starts cold, but once it is running it runs and starts great the rest of the day. It is just the initial start thats cold, and is normal from what I am told. Since we have had the vehicle we have babied the it. We have a family member who is also a mechanic who lives on our property...So that means everytime one of our vehicles even sounds slightly different it is looked at right away. That also means they are all very well maintained ! There has been no need for anything major to be replaced because it is in all good working order with no leaks...ect... Why are we selling it now, We are selling it now because we seldomly drive it and ever since we moved to Arizona 6 years ago.. we have not gone on vacation !! All work and No play has made our family Need a vacation. They are exspensive and Disneyland doesnt come that cheap..... So against my husbands wishes.... I am putting this on Ebay and have booked a trip this September... Hope it is worth it :) Any additional information, If you have any other questions please feel free to email me. I have seen other vehicle auctions with alot more information added than what seems to be here... but theres not much to tell. It has simply been a great vehicle. *Upon auction ending, buyer must contact me to negotiate pick-up. RE: VIN NUMBERS, all USA vehicles prior to 1981 didn't have full 17 digit numbers thus the reason CarFax and AutoCheck research can't be checked. The vehicle is sold as-is with no warranties either expressed or implied. Please email me with any questions prior to placing your bid and I will reply as soon as possible. The winning bidder will need to pay $500.00 through PayPal within 24hr of auction win. The remaining balance is due in full within 7 days of auction close. The winning bidder pays for and arranges all shipping, or picks up the vehicle in Camp Verde Az. (I can arrange for Free drop-off within 60 mile radius). If for whatever reason the remaining balance is not paid bidder must contact me for refund minus insertion and Hassle fee. PLEASE DO NOT BID ON THIS VEHICLE UNLESS YOU INTEND TO OWN IT. A BID IS A LEGALLY-BINDING AND ENFORCEABLE CONTRACT. ZERO (0) FEEDBACK BIDDERS MUST CONTACT ME OR YOUR BID WILL BE REMOVED.
