I am selling my 1983 Suzuki GS 650GL, which has 30939 miles on it. This bike has been extremely reliable, easy and fun to ride. It gets about 46 mpg, and is a 4 cylinder with 4 carborators. I bought this bike in 2005 in Beverly, Massachusetts from a motorcycle shop. The bike was re-possessed from the original owner due to non-payment of shop dues. I have painted the engine case and replaced the rear shocks. It also has new tires, a complete new exhaust, new brakes, new handlebars, and a small windshield. The choke cable broke, and was replaced by a plunger-style choke, which is currently functional, but is not to stock standards. For as long as the bike has been in my possession, it has had routine maintenance, and has only been run with full synthetic oil. There are two dents in the left side of the tank, which can be seen in my pictures. The entire rear fender is duct taped with black duct tape because there was a small crack on the fender. There is some rust on the exhaust pipes, which is also visible in my photos. The tachometer cable needs to be replaced, but is an easy fix and should cost less than $20 to replace. Payment will be accepted via cashier's check, money order, cash in person, or payal only. Payment in full is required within 7 days of close of auction. I must have received payment in full before you may take the bike. Buyer is responsible for picking up the bike.
