ANOTHER VERY RARE BLACK ON BLACK ORIGINAL FACTORY ELEGANCE COMBINATION MERCEDES BENZ 300SD TURBO DIESEL 1980 THE REAL "S" TYPE BY MERCEDES. THE REAL SOLID GERMAN TANK. Beautiful sedan very well maintained. 141k original freeway miles. Originally from Dana Point California. No rust, original paint and original chromes. The paint is still in great shape with only few little scratches here and there around the car, almost not noticeable. The chromes are shiny as the first day. The rims are the originals and they been painted in the same factory color code tone. The tires are new, recently installed. Inside, the car is in awesome condition, I can tell almost new. The dashboard has the typical cracks and it been covered with a dash mat, but is the original, no plastic cover installed or a cheap restoration. If you wold like to restore the dash, let me know and I can have a quote for you and I can do it before the delivery of the vehicle. The head liner, door panels, wood trim, center console, carpets and the mb tex are in exceptional very good condition. The interior like the rest of the car is in 100% original condition except for the radio ( Alpine cd player radio with two Blackpunct speakers) Everything works inside and out of the car. The front right side windows goes up and down with difficulty due a broken regulator (if you provide the part or the cost of the part, I can provide the labor) the driver's window goes up and down also with difficulty, but this one just need adjustment and I can do it for you. The two rear windows works fine. The central locking system works, all the gauges and lights work, the horn works, the sunroof works, the power antenna works with some effort to go up and down but works, it may need lubrication. The cruise control is not been tested, the seat slide back and forward free without difficulty. The radio works. The air conditioning works, same as the heater. All the weather stripping around the doors and and rubber seals around the windshield and back window are new. Mechanically the car is in very good condition, no leaks, no black smoke. It runs super strong and shift smooth. The transmission is been recently rebuild, new reverse band adjusting knob, new secondary pump seals, new filter, new fluid. The bands inside looks still in very good shape. The engine has a K&N air filter witch is a low maintenance element, you don't have to replaced, just cleaned. The suspension is solid, the steering is firm, no loose movement. I can tell this car is a super reliable daily driver transportation. The rear axles may need attention in the future, the cv boot are a little worn but nothing to be worried about it now. I recommend to do an oil service and fuel filters change every 3000 miles to keep this engine running for ever!! This car comes with original spare tire and jack, owner and maintenance manuals. I been describing the car as the best of my observation, if you have any question please no doubt to ask me. You can see and test drive the car at any time before biding.
