This is the one. This is the one everybody wants and it draws a crowd anywhere I take it. Whether you want an original looking 57 or custom 57 this is the one to start with. The car has most original parts but the engine has been changed to a 1958 283 V8 side mounted motor. It runs great. It has a newer rebuilt automatic transmission TH350 that shifts and drives like it should, column shift like original. I drive it quite often and runs great! The trim code is 670 and the paint code is 793-A. No accessory codes on tag under hood. The paint job is not original and has some blistering/popping. It looks good from 10ft. The stainless trim is all there. It needs dents pulled and polished. It will clean up very good. The chrome bumpers are shiny but do have some oxidation spots. The car has very few dents and could be ready for paint with minor work. Has a small hole in drivers side front quarter near the bumper that needs to be repaired. Looks like something was mounted there at one time. The car has very few rust spots. The interior is original. It has rips in it and will need to be replaced. The headliner is original. The carpet has been replaced with a 3 piece carpet kit. The glass has some cracks and delamination. Comes with fender skirts and original air cleaner. The car has a newer gas tank and exhaust system. The radio has been replaced with a modern radio that fits original holes. The radio and exhaust both sound good. Everything but the horn works. The horns are there but the contacts in the steering wheel need replacing. Windows roll up and down easily. Flippers work, passenger sticks occasionally. To be a show car it needs some work but it is a great driver as it is. Fly in and drive it home. Will deliver within SC for someone who wants to drive it home for gas bill.
