1982 Chevy 4x4 TH400 & 327 motor I have too many vehicles and need some of them gone. This is one of them: 1982 chevrolet long bed 1/2 ton truck 4x4, Very rare 327 V8 from a 68 model, (turbo 400) TH400 auto trans, and a NP208 transfer case. RUNS GOOD AND DRIVES GOOD. Body isnt great. windshield is busted too....but mechanically this thing is GREAT.body has dents all over it. It was used as a farm truck and stayed on property most of its life, and has the dents, scars, and rust to show. I drove it to the store the other day and was going bout 50-55 on the hwy with NO problems. Also, it has 33" mud tires on it that have about half or less tread left. Would be a perfect donor truck for that street rod, rat rod, rock crawler, jeep.....whatever. Or, just drive it as is, if you don't mind dents. I don't know the actual mileage because the 327 was put in by previous owner, But its a very strong motor, tranny, and t-case. The 327 alone is worth 1k. Clear title on hand Prefer buyer to pick it up, But, Can deliver for a fee. Located in 37756, but can have in Knoxville, TN any time. Must be trailered as it is not licensed OR insured and is over 20 years old. Must be paid for within 5 days of auction end, unless other arrangements have been made PRIOR to auction end. Don't expect a showroom truck.....if thats what you want, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. If you plan on making this a daily driver.....expect a lot of work. If you want a woods, mud, or farm truck....it's ready as is. DO expect a truck that is running and driving good. Some lights and guages may not work. But it shifts great and does not have any major motor problems. May need a valve cover seal ($7). Four wheel drive works good. Ask any and All question prior to auction ending.
