Up for bid is a 2003 F450 Crewcab dump truck. This is a beast of a truck and is very STOUT. We bought this truck for our landscaping business 3 1/2 years ago and it has been a solid truck. We bought it used at a Ford dealer and they told us the dump system was about a $16,000 add. The dump bed is totally aluminum so excessive weight is not an issue. The tires are good (50% or better), the windshield is cracked but haven't fooled with replacing it, there is a bad spot on the driver's seat from sliding in on it, there is a small dent in driver's door that cannot be seen in pictures as it is on the bottom of the door and it has been touched up. That's about it for the problems. The powerstroke diesel (6.0) has plenty of power and we haven't had any problems with it as we stay on top of maintenance on all our equipment. The 4x4 works great and is only used at the Landfill when dumping in the mud. The paint, though not original looks great as we had it painted to match all our trucks. This one was painted at a professional body shop so was done right. We have recently had the ram on the dump repaired and the A/C compressor is new so at the moment everything is working great. The salvage value alone for the bed is 5-6,000 so look at all your gettting for the difference, this is a good deal on a great truck. This good-lookin' truck would be a plus to any fleet and get help you get those big jobs done! As with any used vehicle there is no warranty expressed or implied.
