I RECEIVED A QUESTION ABOUT WHETHER THE SELLER'S SIGNATURE ON THE TITLE WAS NOTARIZED. I HAD NOT READ THE TITLE CAREFULLY UNTIL THIS QUESTION WAS ASKED. IN 1991 THE SELLER WISHED TO SELL THE CAR AND DID, IN FACT, SIGN THE TITLE AND HAD HIS SIGNATURE NOTARIZED. THE SELLER FILLED IN THE NAME OF THE 'PURCHASER' BUT THE SALE DID NOT GO THROUGH. NOTHING FURTHER WAS DONE WITH THE TITLE. THE CAR WAS PARKED IN A BARN AND REMAINED THERE FOR YEARS. BECAUSE OF THIS, IT MIGHT BE DIFFICULT TO REGISTER THE CAR IN YOUR HOME STATE. IF YOUR STATE HAS NO TITLE REQUIREMENTS FOR OLDER CARS, OR REQUIRES ONLY A BILL OF SALE, YOUR TASK WILL BE MUCH EASIER. (WE FEEL THE PARTS ALONE ARE WORTH MORE THAN THE OPENING PRICE THAT WE ARE ASKING FOR THE CAR.) IN ANY CASE, WE WILL NOT RESCIND THE SALE OR MAKE ANY MONETARY ALLOWANCES IF YOUR STATE DOES NOT ACCEPT THE TITLE PRESENTED WITH THE CAR. The car has been garaged for many years and the frame and floors are in very good condition. There is no rust-through (see pictures). The motor is free and turns over by hand, but we have not tried to start it. The car has been kept up with regular service as indicated by new exhaust, fuel filter, etc. The car needs restoration, but is very solid and restorable. Many parts are included with the car and some of them are new in boxes. The title is a clear Pennsylvania title with no liens or exceptions.
