The deposit MUST be paid within 48hrs of close of bidding....Thank you 1988 Jeep Cherokee Pioneer THE GOOD: . at 163,000 miles(it has alsmost 187k now) i had a new engine put in. at that time i also replaced the radiator, starter, exhaust, water pump, shocks and steering dampener . just put on a new set of tires and changed the front wheel bearings . 4wheel drive and transmission are great and has a low transmission setting for towing ( i never used this as i never towed anything) THE BAD . fuel gauge stopped working, so i use the trip counter to judge when its time for gas, or i just fill up every 125miles or so . power door locks are sticky, so i always have to check if they are locked . power windows can only be controlled with the drivers controls now and the drivers window gets sticky when it is cold outside . AC blows cold, but not as cold as it could be and will need to be recharges, i have not charged it in 2 years . the headliner is dropping due to a leak in HEAVY rains in the sunroof, i guess the rubber seal is getting old and drying out. water does not come down,but the headliner must be getting some for it to get damp . seats and carpet are all there, dirty though, i had covers on the front seats, but they are starting to fall apart, only the drivers seat has a small rip in the original seat, all others are ok . cruse control is not working, it was working till shortly after an alarm was put in and i have always wondered if that had anything to do with it . exterior of jeep has dings in it and the paint is starting to fade. there is a rust spot in the rocker panel below rear driver side door. the rear bumper has the chrome coming off and rust. the front bumper is dented from an accident and the grill and fog light were damaged as well. (there was no other damage from the hit. i had a mac truck dog on the hood for almost 20years till one night in the city someone tried to rip it off and damaged the hood doing so. . passenger side mirror is all there, but someone hit it and the spring slipped off and for the life of me, i cant get it back on. it the spring that connects the inside control to the mirror. (all parts are still there, just the can get that spring over the attachment point, there may be a tool for this?) . rear door shocks are finished and do not really hold the door up anymore . radio antenna does not work, i only listen to the CD so not a big deal for me, i put this radio in about 6years ago along with new front speakers Please ask if you have any questions. I tried not to leave anything out and do not want to miss-represent anything.This is still a good running Jeep. I drove it close to 75miles every day and would jump in it now and not worry about a thing. On Apr-18-10 at 18:43:11 PDT, seller added the following information: . Drivers door key entry not working. the lock works fine, but the little spring cover to the lock where the key goes in is now broken. so you have to use the key in the passenger side door to unlock from outside and then use power locks or reach over to unlock. it can be replaced, but then you would have a key just for that door. it may be able to be fixed, but i am not sure.
