Vehicle Detail
1926 Ford Model T Roadster Ratrod Hotrod For the purposes of cleaning out the garage I am selling off EVERYTHING not bolted down! Please - CHECK OUT MY OTHER AUCTIONS. Pictures are actual item you are bidding on. You are bidding on a 1926 Ford Coupe Hotrod!!! IF YOU REALLY WANT THIS CAR USE THE "BUY IT NOW"WHILE YOU STILL CAN. Its for sale locally - so I reserve the right to sell it at ANY time. As ridiculous as it sounds I bought this car last year for my Wife based on a digital photograph (not really knowing anything about early Fords then or now). The idea was that we could go to car shows with and whatnot. But it's getting no use whatsoever and it really needs a good home. As for the condition of the car, I AM NO MECHANIC. But keeping in mind I have driven it less than 500 miles I will tell you what I can. First of all the body has a purple paint job "Plum Crazy Purple" and a beautiful white leather interior. The windows have etching on them of roses. Also the engine appears to me to be a 327 Chevy. The lady who sold it to us said it came out of a Corvette. It has an automatic transmission. Who knows what the mileage actually is. It runs great. GREAT. Registration is current, tags and Pink Slip in hand. It's a looker, and I could go on and on about the car, but I think the negatives should be stated. 1. First off there is a thin layer of surface rust on the chrome of the engine and whatnot. This is from being sat outside without a car cover by the previous owner(s) 2. Also it appears to me to need some upholstery work on the leading edge of the roof line as well (look at the picture for details). 3. The dash and steering wheel is wood, but because both have sat for so long the varethane has cracked here and there. On the running boards as well. 4. Also I was asked if the fenders were metal or fiberglass, and I think they are fiberglass. 5. Battery is getting stale because it sat all winter. 6. I have been told it was "restored" but attention to details looks lacking to me. 7. The lady who sold it to us said seemed to her that it runs warm - but that never happened to me and honestly that may not be the case at all. 8. Paint has some imperfections and chips. 9. The trunk latch is missing. 10. When the engine is long warmed up (driving for an hour) - if you turn it off and restart - the starter hesitates as if it needs something to protect it from the warm engine to keep it cool. IF YOU REALLY WANT THIS CAR USE THE "BUY IT NOW" - Because it's easily worth it. I start the auctions out super low but I have been doing Ebay for 5 + years & I can tell you that it won't sell for peanuts. Please do NOT BID if you have less that 5 feedbacks without contacting me first. THE VEHICLE IS AN 85 YEAR OLD ANTIQUE - SO IT IS SOLD AS IS WHERE IS. I reserve the right to end the auction at any time as it is for sale locally. I will allow it to be sold overseas but be warned - I will only accept payment by bank electronic wire transfer, I wont give possession of the vehicle until I KNOW the funds have cleared my bank. It will be YOUR responsibility to set up your shipping arrangements. Thanks & good luck!
