This vehicle runs and drives very well. California smog inspection was just done, this Audi passed with no problems. Everything works like it should. Nice clean wagon, comes with the third row seat, leather inteior, roof rack, moonroof and more, nice loaded Audo a6. Runs and drives very well. Transmission shifts smooth. The SHIFTER ASSEMBLY needs to be replaced, it makes a knocking noise when the car is in park, the noise goes away when you put you foot on the break or shift out of park. It only makes the sound when the vehicle is in park and your foot is off the break pedal. The transmission has no issues, this sound is coming from the shifter assembly. This part can be purchased on ebay for anywhere from $50 to $120 for a good used part. This part does not effect the way the vehicle runs or drives in any way, if you chose not to replace this piece you don't have to. Other than that this Audi is mechanically sound.
