Vehicle Detail
1970 Oldsmobile 442 Convertible 87,652 original miles, runs great Excellent color combination - White Exterior, Blue Interior, Blue Top VIN 342670M373569 Unfortunately I must sell one of my cars to raise money for a house remodel and I guess its going to be my 1970 Cutlass Supreme Convertible. Rare color combination- white with blue interior. When is the last time you saw this color interior? It's hard to find them this nice. My car has the 442 rear bumper with cut outs for the 442 trumpet exhaust and the 442 4-spoke steering wheel..the 442 emblems were added. This car has excellent original interior and a very nice paint job. The car is very, very straight- the body lines are excellent and the doors open and shut perfectly with no sag. The undercarriage of the car has no rust, see the pictures of the floor pans. The car has a new convertible top. This car looks awesome and gets thumbs up and compliments everywhere I go, even more than in my 69 Camaro convertible. This white beauty has a new convertible top with a glass rear window (they did an excellent job installing the top and it has no wrinkles, its nice and tight). The car also has new exhaust. The exhaust has the classic rumble thru the 442 trumpet exhaust tips. My car runs and drives great and has 87,652 original miles. It has the original matching numbers engine, 4bbl carburetor, automatic transmission, new dual exhaust, new convertible top, new shocks. The transmission shifts nice and firm. The undercarriage is clean with no rust issues (see pictures). The tires have very good tread. All the electrical works as it should - lights, blinkers, power top, even the radio sounds clear. The car rides down the road very nicely; suspension is the best of all convertibles I have ridden in. This car has been well maintained; all the stainless and trim moldings are nice. Exterior mirror chrome and door handle chrome is nice too. The glass is all original and in great shape. All the windows, including the rear quarter windows roll down nicely with no binding. The car comes with a full size spare tire and the complete jacking equipment in the trunk. Also included is the original Oldsmobile owners manual (not a reprint), the factory top boot and an rather expensive custom fit car cover. I think that this car will appreciate in value over the next several years and is better than money sitting in your bank account, since you can enjoy the car while it appreciates (should appreciate faster than the interest from the loan for that matter). I hate to see the car go. I think for the money, this is the most fun you can have cruising down the road this summer. Please check my feedback as I have a lot of positive responses to selling cars on Ebay...…I can help with arranging shipping also if need be. Lots of bucks have been spent on this car, you probably couldn’t by a Cutlass Convertible and restore it for the reserve price, which is less than it should be... Do not bid if you cannot afford the car or do not have the funds available to follow thru with the transaction. If you have negative feedback from a previous Ebay Motors auction, please do not bid! Terms of Sale: This auction is a legally binding contract, DO NOT BID UNLESS YOU INTEND TO FOLLOW THROUGH AND PAY FOR THE VEHICLE. This auction costs me money to list, so don't bid if you can't afford to pay for the car. Should the high bidder back out, Ebay will be contacted. Non paying bidders will not be tolerated, so if you are prone to buyers remorse or are inexperienced with buying cars on Ebay, please have the car inspected prior to bidding.
