Vehicle Detail

Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE I have decided to sell my 1971 Chevelle TRUE 454 SS. I purchased this car because of how rare it is and hate to sell it. The original 454 Big Block LS5 comes with the car, it has the car’s VIN number stamped on it so you know this is the real deal. The car should easily be worth $50,000-$60,000 or more depending on how well you restore the car. It was an original 454 SS with black Bucket Seats and was painted Sienna Metallic from the factory, you can still see the original paint job in the pictures. The car was built, sold and lived its entire life locally before being stored in a barn. It will need the usual restoration parts but the most important sheet metal is the firewall and it is in excellent shape. The chassis is also in excellent shape so this car should be simple to restore. My plan was to sand blast the frame and paint it gloss black, restore the body and put it back on the frame and have a car everyone would drool over. What else can I say about this car? Anyone who knows classic cars can appreciate how rare this car is, not only is it a real SS but it’s not a SS 350 or SS 396, it’s a SS 454!! The LS5 engine with heads and numbers matching intake is worth over $5,000 alone!! The SS Dash is still in the car with the factory Tach and I have extra Chevelle parts that go with the car and they are in the pictures. They will never make another 1971 Chevelle 454 SS so yours will always be rare. I would love to keep the car but I have too much going on right now and need to make room in the garage so my loss is your gain. This is one of the smartest investments you can make, it performs better than a 401K and you will get to drive it while it appreciates in value! I have the clear clean title in hand. Engine Block Numbers:3963512 10424CPD Head Numbers: 3856206 I don't believe these are original - they were put on to increase the compression Intake Number: 3855287 On Apr-24-10 at 07:29:54 PDT, seller added the following information:People have asked about my reserve price so I thought I would just post it, it's $5,000. There are 109 people watching this auction and waiting to bid at the end so bid to win!!On May-02-10 at 09:33:51 PDT, seller added the following information:Sorry about the misprint on the reserve price. The reserve is not $5,000, it is a little less than the $3,900 buy-it-now price. On May-02-10 at 21:02:55 PDT, seller added the following information: Thanks to Chevelle Fan who pointed out that one of the engine block numbers is a T instead of a 1. So the engine block numbers are: Engine Block Numbers:3963512 (this was already correct) 10424CPD is actually T0424CPD On May-06-10 at 16:47:27 PDT, seller added the following information:I forgot to mention that the car dolly the car is on goes with it.On May-07-10 at 00:44:08 PDT, seller added the following information: I have better pictures of the engine by itself but I can't post them to the ad because I have reached the maximum amount of pictures Ebay will let me add. Email me and I can email the pictures to you.
