Barn find 1935 Ford coupe with same owner since 1977. This car was stored in northern California with several other cars and last driven in late 70's. The body is in excellent condition with no rust in the floor. There is some rust around the lower trunk lid seal area on the lower body panel. Paint is partial original and the original apple green stripe is still showing in some areas. Drivetrain is a later flathead 24 stud and appears to be a 1939 transmission. The engine sounds good and is very responsive. It does have steel headers. The gas tank was flushed and a electric fuel pump was added. Car does start and drive. The brakes have been converted to hydraulics sometime in the past. One brake cylinder was replaced and the brakes work good. This car does run and drive, but would need some work to make a daily driver. Interior has been partially redone, seat has been recovered and is still in good condition. All of the window moldings have been chromed. This is a great car to drive as is without restoring. The vinyl top insert is in excellent condition, probably replaced 30 years ago or could be original. As the pictures show the door glass is original, but clouded due to age.
