I am listing this vehicle for my uncle who is a Pa. used car dealer. **** Attention, This truck was listed about 7 weeks ago, The buyer was a nonpaying buyer, after 6 weeks of no deposit or payment, and a lot of empty promises, I am relisting it. Please don't bid unless you intend to buy the truck. A deposit is due with in 24 hours of auctions end, and full payment is due within 7 days of auctions end. NO EXCEPTIONS ! **** Up for auction is a 1997 Ford F-450 Super Duty Bucket Truck. This trucks body is in very nice shape for its age. There are a few spots on the utility bed where there are some rust bubbles under the paint,( see pics) but the spots are still solid, they are not rusted through. The interior is very nice for its age, no tears in the seat. 5 of the 6 tires are like new, the drivers side front could be replaced. It has a 7.5l gasoline engine. it is a automatic, but the transmission is missing, it needs a transmission and torque converter. The starter is also missing. The generator has also been removed. This truck was a former Verizon phone company truck, which was in the process of having its transmission replaced when it was retired. So it was taken to the auction with the tranny missing. We have not run the engine since there is not a starter or a battery in it. We are selling it just as we purchased it.I am selling it as true mileage unknown, and the title reads mileage exempt.
