Original Southern California car, then NC, then my garage in Huntsville, AL. Solid body, trunk and floors. Repainted at some time below the belt trim, but upper appears to be original. New BMW long block installed by BMW mechanic September 2002 ($4400). Extensive drive train parts replaced at the same time. R134a air conditioning blows cold. I've added a carb rebuild, Crane Optical Ignition, rebuilt radiator, tweed seat covers, floor mats, stereo and speakers. Driven often and regular maintenance. Good tires and brakes. AC serviced, all electrical works except tach, extensive service records and historical contacts. Windows, door locks, and heater all functional. Negatives: Rust bubbles on both front fenders near the door seams. Surface rust in the spare tire well (scraped, coated, and painted). Wiper scrapes in the center of the windshield, original carpet stained and faded, but not torn, tach non-functional, crack in dash, but covered by a dash cover. Motor has about 52k miles since install. No reserve auction from my minimum. Need garage space!
