Hello folks, A friend tells me that this car was Motor trends car for the year in 1958. Rare factory air conditioning with the belt still on. (needs charged) I'm helping a friends father sell this Thunderbird. He is 86 years old and bought it new in Houston Texas from Pearson Ford back in 1958. The car runs and drives. Complete car that could use a restoration. The car is all complete and has factory air, power windows, power seat and am radio. The fender skirts are in the trunk. It was repainted a slightly different color back about 10 years ago. The interior is in complete shape and still has the working am radio. Three power windows do not work, you can hear activity when you move the switch's but no movement. The car could be restored or used as a weekend driver. I have this file for the car that has lots of receipts for service dating back to 1958. It has hand typed letters and even parking tickets from the early 60's. It is mind blowing that you could have a car tuned back then for forty bucks. 14 gallons of gas for 4.54 a mere .32 cents a gallon.
