Up for sale is my 1974 VW Super Beetle Convertible. I bought this from the original owner back in 1993, drove it for a few years while in college, then put it into storage. It has not been driven in nearly 15 years, so be prepared to do some work on this. I removed the battery before putting it into storage, so I haven't tested anything out. Cosmetically, this car is in very nice condition, at some point before I bought it the original owner had it repainted. The top, and interior are original. There is corrosion on the undercarriage, so some repair work will need to be planned for before safely driving this again. On Apr-26-10 at 15:32:47 PDT, seller added the following information: In it's current state, the vehicle does not run. The battery has been removed to prevent leakage during storage, along with disconnecting the fuel line at the gas tank. The engine does not yet turnover, but did run when put into storage 15 years ago. I make no claims as to the engine's condition, other than it will take work by the buyer to get it running again.
