BANK REPO from Central Bank in Lebanon, MO. This is a 1971 Chevy C/30 1-ton truck with a custom car hauler bed. You are bidding on the RED TRUCK ONLY. The little black truck is for sale on another auction. You are more than welcome to buy both and take on home on the back of the other, but must win both auctions to do so. EXTERIOR: Truck is in pretty fair shape with the exception of the front bumper. Still not sure quite how you do that to a bumper. Truck was painted red some time ago and the clear coat is flaking off in some places. Bed measures 17' X 7'--the last 6' of the bed is the dovetail portion. One set of aluminum ramps. Winch is an older 8,000# Warn, but works. As you can see in the pictures, it is fully functional. INTERIOR: About what you would expect for the age and use of this truck. Nothing fancy, but functional. Original AM radio. Seat ok. MECHANICAL: Starts and runs. We did drive it in hauling the truck you see. However, the alternator is missing along with the breather. Engine is a 454 big block and has the granny low + 1,2, & 3 on the tranny (total of 4). Sounds good. Power steering pump is there, but not functioning--may be out of fluid. Pump is not noisy, just no power. The truck has been sitting all winter so everything will need to be checked out very well. Tires are all good and 50% tread or better. New exhaust. Not sure if the mileage is accurate or how many times it may how rolled over in the past 39 years. Must come and get it on a weekday (Monday-Friday). I would drive home if not traveling on the interstate, had a lot of time to get home, or was not afraid of adventure. If you are going cross country I would haul it home and then check out everything and make sure it was safe for highway travel. REPO/NO WARRANTY: The vehicle you are purchasing is a repossession by Central Bank in Lebanon, Missouri. I will give a good description of what I know about the vehicle, but this has not been my personal vehicle and in most cases I do not have a detailed history on the vehicle. All vehicles are sold without warranty expressed or implied. Vehicle has not been safety inspected. Central Bank does not guaranty the vehicle to pass safety inspection. ALL SALES ARE FINAL. There is no negotiation on price after the sale or upon delivery of the vehicle. Bidders are highly encouraged to come and inspect the vehicle before the end of the auction. If you are contacted buy someone wanting to sell you an item I’ve had listed for a ridiculously low price and willing ship it across the country for $20, IT IS A SCAM. They will likely want you to pay thru Ebay, which does not happen either. If you buy something from Central Bank, your check will be made directly to Central Bank and you can pay for the vehicle when you pick it up. We do not do shipping. You can arrange and pay for shipping on your own, if you so choose. TEST DRIVE: NOT possible. You are welcome to come and inspect the vehicle, start, and drive it around the parking lot, but we DO NOT allow test drives on the street/road under any circumstances. This is not a car dealership. TITLE: Central Bank has a lien-free title for all vehicles. Title to vehicle will be transferred with payment in full, and/or once funds have been verified. All you pay is the high bid amount. No hidden fees. PAYMENT: Central Bank expects payment in full within 7 days of the auction ending. Preferred payment methods are wire transfers, official checks, or money orders. Personal or business checks are accepted, but the title will not be transferred until the funds have cleared your account. SELL TO LOCATIONS: Due to some recent problems with winning bidders from countries outside the USA not completing the transaction, I have restricted sales to the USA. PICK UP & DELIVERY: Buyer is responsible for getting their purchase to its new home. Arrangements will need to be made in advance on Monday - Friday. Weekday pick ups should be by 4:00, unless special arrangements are made. DEPOSIT: No deposit is required if you pay within 7 days. If you are unable to pay and pick up the vehicle within 7 days, we require a 10% or $250 deposit (whichever is greater). FEEDBACK: All bidders with zero (0) feedback must e-mail me before bidding or your bid will be cancelled. Feedback will be left on the buyer’s account once the transaction is completed.
