The car currently has 81,925 miles on it. It was removed from service in Apr 2010 as a part of our normal vehicle replacement cycle. The vehicle was serviced on a 120-day preventive maintenance schedule. The tires have approximately 70% to 80% tread remaining and the vehicle runs well. The exterior is in good condition. The hood has multiple rock chips on it. The driver’s side front fender also has a few rocks chips present. The driver’s door has approximately 8-10 small door dings, plus about 3-4 dings on the door molding. The driver’s side rear door has approximately 8-10 small door dings, but approximately 7-8 dings on the door molding. The roof has 1 plugged & sealed hole from where an antenna was previously mounted. The passenger side rear door has a few minor door dings, plus 1 ding/chip on the door molding. The passenger side front door has a minor, light scratch to the upper left of the door handle and a deep, dent approximately 3-4” long from the edge of a door to the right of the door handle. The interior is in excellent condition with no apparent issues present/seen. There is an aftermarket steering wheel cover installed. Some repairs that have been completed on this vehicle include the following. In Aug 2009, at 75,244 miles, both front tires were replaced. In July 2009, at 74,313 miles, the vehicle check engine light was on & the problem investigated with no issues found (suspected the fuel cap was not tightened). In June 2009, at 73,872 miles, the spark plugs and plug wires were replaced & the vehicle was repaired further at the local Ford dealer for the camshaft synchronizer. In May 2009, at, 73,123 miles, the alternator assembly was replaced. In Jan 2009, at 69,473 miles, the wiper blades, rear brake shoes, wheel cylinders, wheel hubs and drums were replaced. In May 2008, at 62,054 miles, the front brake rotors, brake pads and left outer tie rod end were replaced. In Sep 2007, at 54,266 miles, the tires were rotated. In July 2007, at 52,320 miles, the front brake pads were replaced. In May 2007, at 51,285 miles, both front sway bar links were replaced, along with the front brake pads. Also, the front brake rotors were reconditioned. In Sep 2006, at 42,673 miles, the battery was replaced. In Jan 2006, at 34,322 miles, the fuel filter clip, spark plugs and front tires were replaced. In Sep 2005, at 29,830 miles, the right rear tire was repaired. In Jan 2005, at 21,575 miles, both rear brake wheel cylinders were replaced. In Dec 2003, at 7,742 miles, the door switch was replaced at the local Ford dealer under warranty. In Sep 2003, at 5,555 miles, the cowl assembly was replaced under warranty at the local Ford dealer. In Feb 2003, at 101 miles, the vehicle had tint applied at a local window tint facility to both rear door windows and the rear window. This vehicle can be viewed between the hours of 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding national holidays, at the City of Champaign Public Works Department, 702 Edgebrook Drive, Champaign, Illinois. The vehicle must be picked up between the hours of 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday at the same location. The City of Champaign is required to sell all vehicles through an auction process. We cannot accept “Buy It Now” offers or trades. High bidder is responsible for picking up the vehicle from Champaign, Illinois. High bidder is responsible for all shipping and transportation costs.
