Vehicle Detail

Hello and thank you for taking a moment to look at my auction. Here we have a 1968 Convertible Pontiac LeMans/GTO clone up for auction. As you will see in my photos below, I have gone through great pains in making sure that everything is documented as thoroughly as possible. The rear shocks are currently detached as well as the drive shaft. The previous owner appears to have been in process of working on something, but did not complete the mission. Everything appears to be good to be reassembled. This is not the original engine and transmission. Both the engine and transmission are dated at 1969. I do realize that the casting code coincides with the 1968 version, however the date code dictates that it is a 1969. Also please note that this is not a titled car, thus a bill of sale will be used. Here are a few specifications on the vehicle: 400ci EngineEngine Casting Code: 9790071Block Date Code: L909Dual Gate His & Her's Auto Transmission What comes with the car: OPGI Stage 1 Interior KitBlack in ColorValued at $550.00(missing one front seat cover....it turns out I don't know how to install seat covers. I reduced the value for this reason) OPGI Convertible TopWith GLASS Back WindowBlack in ColorValued at $506.95 Holley 4160 Carbeurator Already InstalledValued at $300.00 Do not make the mistake in thinking that the "valued at" above indicates that the reserve on this auction is high. It is in fact extremely low and I will be losing a great deal of money. My loss is your gain, we can thank the thriving economy for this. Also please take a moment to look at the images below which will show all of these extra goodies that will be going along with the car. The body is in quite good condition considering the age of the car. Rust is well documented in the pictures below. There are a few holes in the floor pan and one very tiny one in the trunk pan. These can be remedied with little cost. The primary areas you will expect to see rust are the typical areas which you will see on most muscle cars of this era: Fender Wells and the bottom of the Fender Panels are the worst of it. The passenger side fender has a small hole at the bottom......all of this should be well documented in the pictures. There is also minor rust on the hood as well. Two bucket seats will be included as well. These are both in decent condition, but will need work. The rear seat was destroyed due to the bad convertible top....it took one for the team and protected the better part of your rear floor pans. If you have any questions that you might like to ask, just let me know. I will be more than happy to get back to you right away Feel free to call with offers and questions at: 706-633-3403 ask for Justin
