1997 Ford Taurus GL 4 door sedan with a 6 cylinder engine. Light blue exterior & light blue-grey interior. The mileage is at 98,200 miles. I am the second owner that I know of and I have had the car for 2 years. The car has ABS brakes and the condition of the brakes are probably good for another 5000 miles or so. The Air Conditioning (blows cold) and the heat works fine. The radio is an am/fm/cassette, but it has a short - might be just a loose wire - I'm not sure - sometimes when you go over a bump the radio will come back on. Auto transmission works fine and the overdirve is stong and responsive and it also has Cruise control. Also - Power brakes, Power steering,Tilt wheel, Air Bags, power mirrors.The drivers side window motor has been replaced, but needs a new switch since the current switch sometimes gets stuck.The interior has a few small blemishes, but no rips or cuts and the exterior has a few dings & a scrape on the drivers side back door - see pictures, I have a clean title for the car. The car is driveable, but the front-end needs some work so it is not safe for a long distance or on the highway the way it is. The engine idles low in drive and I replaced the plugs and wires, but a mechanic told me that the rotor needs to be replaced which I will not be doing. The car has not been in any kind of accident for the 2 years that I've had it and none before to my knowledge. I am selling the car because the front-end needs some work (ball joints and struts. I am not sure if it needs more than this - it's possible but I'm not a mechanic) and I do not have the money to put into it so the car is being sold for parts. You can rebuild the front-end if you choose. I am still driving itoccasionally for about a 30 mile trip. I have a clean title for the car. I also have the car listed locally so I retain the right to end this auction early. I have set this auction with a low reserve sale price.
