Vehicle Detail

Hello. You are bidding on a 1970 Chevy Nova. This is not a SS, just a simple plain janer. This car has always been adult owned and driven, never abused. I am the third owner. The car was originally purchased in San Francisco, California, and has been in the dry climate of California all of its life. Engine is a 327 4bbl with TH350 transmission and ten bolt rear. Has power steering, and power disc brakes. CONDITION IS AS FOLLOWS: DRIVETRAIN: Runs and drives well. Front end was just completely rebuilt including CPP coil springs. Tires are brand new. Brakes are all new including calipers, rotors, and brake lines. Mufflers and pipes were recently replaced with Flowmasters. Engine is a Corvette 327 with Feulie heads and has approximately 15k on rebuild. Carb is a Quadrajet, intake is a Holley Contender. Distributor was converted to HEI. Battery is an Optima dry cel, was relocated to the trunk, and done correctly. Overall, mechanicly, this car is very solid and dependable, needing only minor items, and or your personal touches. Radiator is oversize 3 core, and cools the car well. Flex fan replaces the original. The TH350 trans was also rebuilt less than 5000 miles ago. 3 pod gauge cluster was added to better monitor engine conditions. This was mounted below the dash, so the dash was not cut or modified to mount it. INTERIOR: Interior is in great shape, and has been kept up on over the years. Seats have just been reupholstered, carpet is new. Front door panels are new, original rears are in great shape with no rips or damage. Original headliner and sail panels are in good shape also, with no rips or tears. All gauges work, as well as the lights, brake and turn signals, dome lamp, etc. Horn does not work, one of the sliders for the heater control doesn`t slide all the way. Heater core was just replaced. Steering column is tight. Dash pad is in great shape with no cracks. Stereo/CD player is aftermarket and works well. Body: The body on this car is overall, very solid. All panels are original GM. The body has had one single repaint with the original color. Paint was done a while ago and is driver quality, not show quality. The paint/body has its share of dents, dings, scratches, and chips, but the car has never been in a serious accident of any kind, so what you see is what you get. This is not one of those cars packed with a bunch of body filler or bad bodywork. If you look at the trunk pictures, you will see that it is in excellent shape, and still has the original trunk spatter paint. The only panel ever replaced on this car was a small patch on the floor where the heater core had leaked at some point. This was welded in when the carpet was replaced, and again, the heater core is new. You can see by the underbody pictures, this "patch" is not typical rust to the car. Drivers door just had the hinge pins replaced, and hangs and shuts tight. Passenger door hinges are good. OVERALL: This is a very solid, presentable driver that you can enjoy as is, and ad your personal touches a little at a time. POTENTIAL BUYERS: I have described this car as honestly and as accurately as possible, and to the best of my knowledge, but please, if you need additional pics, or have any questions, ask BEFORE bidding as this sale is final with no warranty and I want you to be happy with the car. Just understand this car is 40 years old, so please expect normal wear and tear based on the mileage and my description. Serious buyers can call me at 530 307-8973. The car is available for inspection at anytime BEFORE the end of auction, and I do reserve the right to end auction early. BIDDERS WITH ZERO FEEDBACK WILL CONTACT ME BEFORE BIDDING AS I WILL CANCEL YOUR BIDS OTHERWISE. I HAVE DEALT WITH TOO MANY NON PAYING BIDDERS IN THE PAST AND IT WILL NOT HAPPEN TO ME AGAIN. SORRY. Thanks Larry
