For sale is my 1970 Triumph TR-6. It would make a great parts car, or a restorable project. Just to be sure, this car is a project car. My intention was to restore it to its original condition, but I am no longer able to either put the time or the money into it. The odometer says that it has 104k miles on it, but I cannot verify that the odometer is correct. Good points: the trunk and the hood are in excellent condition, the rear fenders are also in great shape. The driver’s side seat has a small tear in it. I also have an extra pair of doors that I will throw in. The frame has a couple of small holes in the rear and one ¼ inch by 2 inch hole at the rear of the frame. The front and rear bumpers have some pitting but otherwise are in good shape. The transmission is in the car, but I haven’t tried to run it, so I do not know its condition. Bad points: the floorboards and the trunk are rusted through. I was told when I bought the car that it “yard ran” as the fuel pump is bad and it has no battery, so I haven’t been able to start it. There is some rust on the top of the front interior quarter panels, but the rest of them look pretty good. The front fenders are good except for considerable rust at the bottom, which could be repaired. The convertible top had holes in it, so I threw it away. The car is being sold as is with no warranties implied. Buyer will pay all shipping costs. A $200 deposit must be made through PAYPAL within 48 hours after the bidding ends, and the balance paid within 7 days through either PAYPAl or certified check. I do not have a title for the car as it was a New York car which did not give titles for cars prior to 1980. I have a bill of sale from the prior owner and I will provide a bill of sale to the buyer.
