It is a solid, attractive blue 1986 Vanagon, the Country Homes Edition. The 2.1 water cooled 4speed with A/C (fanbelt missing) Power Steering, 2 Batteries, One table, with the pole. Electric refrigerator works. Propane stove and sink are untested. A moonroof. It has 179,000 miles. I just bought it in January and now must move to the East Coast. I added new light truck tires, a Yakima Road Warrior roof rack system with a cargo net, and a custom tent for the rear gate, a special privacy shade covering the windshield, driver and passenger windows, an iPod adaptor for the terrific cassette stereo system, a three outlet AC adaptor for the cigarrette lighter, an electric fan for the driver and an aftermarket center console designed specifically for Vanagons. The paint is in really good shape, as is the interior, with no rust! The previous owner installed new head gaskets with the new, upgraded AMC heads. My mechanic confirmed his claim when servicing the vehicle (installed a new speedometer). It shifts smoothly and really runs well. It's a real clean machine. On Apr-19-10 at 17:35:32 PDT, seller added the following information:Last week-end a core lock on the Yakima roof rack jammed. Since the key didn't work, in order to get the roof rack off the van I had to use a power drill. The key worked on the other three just fine. I called Yakima. they don't sell individual replacement cores. The the package they offer has replacement parts for all four roof attachemnts, $44.95 plus $7 shipping. I will kick back fifty-two dollars to the winning bidder.
