The engine Starts right up and runs extremely well, like new! The 4.5-liter, twin-cam, four-valve inline-six engine that produced 160 kW (215 hp) and 373 N·m (275 lb·ft) of torque does not leak, smoke, overheat or make any unusual noises. All fluids, belts, hoses and accessories are excellent! In 1993 – An advanced Toyota FZ engine with a 24-valve, 4.5L DOHC straight-6 internal combustion engine manufactured by Toyota replaced the F-series engine. It was used primarily in SUVs because of its large displacement, smoothness, ruggedness and torque. The total wheelbase in the ’93 models were made slightly longer. The idle is A+++ and doesn’t miss a beat. The suspension and steering are super tight and responsive. This LC is an absolute pleasure to drive….. The transmission shifts on the mark. The 4×4 low and high gear engage properly. The truck has never been used or intended as an off road vehicle. The brakes are A+. Everything works properly and there are no known issues. All mechanical, electrical and climate control systems operate like they should. The air conditioning blows strong cold air. All the power windows and sunroof open and close perfectly. Cosmetically this Land Cruiser is as honest and original as they come and is completely un-touched! The paint finish still retains a nice shine on most panels. If you are looking for that perfect look it needs paint. There are various cosmetic imperfections mostly clear-coat issues on the hood and roof, etc. which can clearly be seen in the pics and add a tremendous amount of character. There are no obvious dents, or previous accidents, ever! The body is superb and completely 100% rust free (body, chassis and frame). There is not one single spec of rust, rust repair, blister or bubble anywhere whatsoever. This is the beauty of an original California vehicle, no salt on the roads or harsh weather conditions, it was 73 degrees when we took these photos the other day! In our opinion the overall appearance is outstanding and receives high marks for being 100% authentic and original. The trim, rubber, weather-stripping, lights and lenses are superb. Beautifully polished stock aluminum wheels. The tires are okay however upon close inspection a new set is recommended soon. This is a non smoker vehicle. The interior is very tidy and looks amazing! The seats, carpeting, headliner, dash, console and door-panels are all in great shape. The passenger rear door panel has a very minor (approx 1/2 inch) tear in the material (see pic).
