Popular Equipment Package: Touring package items plus cruise control, Torsen limited-slip differential, power antenna, windblocker and power door locks. Leather Package: Popular equipment package items plus tan leather-trimmed upholstery, tan vinyl top 15-inch aluminum alloy wheels and BOSE audio system. All leather package Miatas with automatic transmissions come with ABS. The fine print: Car is very clean and in overall nice shape but not perfect. Runs, drives, shifts, starts and stops as it should. Everything works, ie all the power stuff. Power mirror button might be slow to respond.I disassembled this and applied dielectric grease as it wasn't working when I got it.Only thing I haven't checked is the cassette player. Cold ac / hot heat Clear Texas title in my name. No lien of any kind. Inspection and registration valid thru 10-19. Driver's mat discolored compared to passenger side. Armrests/door handles have scratches, drivers side more so that passenger side. Console lid hinge has some wear and is a little loose when opening and closing, firm once closed and latched. Small star/chip in windshield that was repaired at some point in time. Otherwise glass is perfect. I am the 3rd owner. First 2 owners were a father and son. Car was registered and titled in multiple states since owner(s) moved a handful of times while owning the car. History report might appear to have more owners. Father/Son left all of the receipts in the car, mostly oil changes and tires. Wheels are clean, tires are past 2/3 of their service life - I haven't checked tread w/ gauge. There is some cracking/crazing in the finish under the clearcoat only on the driver's rear quarter (see last pic). Paint on entire car is nice and shiny less aforementioned nicks and scratches. Car has a mild case of idle dip / idle drop which is very common for Miatas. Search miata.net for more info if you are not familiar with this. Doesn't affect performance. Small quarter size oil leak that is on my garage floor every 2-3 days. Haven't noticed a drop on oil level at dipstick since oil change in November. Car had a P0455 come up once which was the gas gap. This is a fun, easy to work on, reliable car but it is not new. Please keep in mind that it is 20 years old and will require the expected maintenance and care for a care of this age and mileage. If you are in the Houston area I'd more than happy to show the car with cash in hand.If you are a serious out of state buyer, I'd be more than happy to Facetime/Skype to do a walkaround of the car and start it up, drive, etc.. Assume that the timing belt, water pump, clutch, suspension and brakes are original as I have no receipts from the previous owner that says otherwise. Car is sold as is with no warranty.Shipping or transport is the responsibility of the buyer. I will work with your shipper to make the car available for pick up. I would also be available to meet at HOU or IAH to deliver car to new buyer that might fly in. Please message me if there are any questions or specific photos that are needed. About me: I've owned 5 Miatas ('92 "C", '97 base, '96 base, '02 "LS" and this one)I've sold 2 cars (1 was the '02 "LS") and a boat on eBay, both with positive feedback.I purchased this in 11-18 as a temporary driver (replaced things that immediately needed attention) as I had a BMW lease that ended and I needed a daily driver til I found my next vehicle. If I were to keep this, I would likely replace tires and brakes in the near future. ***mileage may increase by the time car is sold***
