1997 Toyota Land Cruiser with 140K documented miles with service records and clean CarFax This a real "No Reserve" auction. Selling this one owner Land Cruiser from Santa Barbara, CA. This is the very last year of the 80 Series in the US with the solid front axle and this one Front & Rear Differential Lock (K294) that work perfectly. This is a one owner and has been in Santa Barbara since new. It's 100% stock and has been well maintained. Over 70 photos and I'll point out any issues that I've noticed. ZERO rust. All service records included since new showing religious oil changes and regular maintenance needs such has brakes, rotors, belts etc. Below are some recent service items. No head gasket issues and a clean bill of health from the mechanic. Owners manuals, 2 keys, window sticker as well as other items come with the Cruiser. It runs, drives, brakes, shifts, steers incredibly well and indicative of the low 140k miles. AC is ice cold. I have owned and driven over thirty 80 Series Land Cruisers over the years and this one is one of the better ones I've had. The Cruiser doesn't leak a drop oil. The birfields are in good shape. It's simply a pleasure to drive. Also no factory roof rack so there are no holes drilled into the roof. It does come with a Yakima cross bar setup with 4 bike attachments. Correct size Michelin LTX tires in great shape. Interior is very clean and correct and free of any smells and was never smoked in. Here are a few flaws: The "D" light in the instrument cluster is burnt out all others work.The power seats are slow but work. The nylon gears have been replaced but still slow currently in the farthest back position.Wear in the driver and front passenger seat leather. Has had sheepskin covers for years after the wear became worse. Could redo the leather or get a set Tuff Duck covers from Spector.Wear in the drivers floor mat from high heels.The right rear passenger ashtray door is missing. NOTE: The paint on Toyota's from the 90's were prone to "clean coat fade" and this Cruiser was a victim to that as well. The original owner commissioned a refurbishing from a well known shop here in Santa Barbara. This was completed in January 2016 and included dent removal and prep with a respray with Moonglow Pearl base coat and clear coat the areas with clear code fade. The door jams were NOT painted and there is no chessy overspray. The front bumper was then repainted black which is not the correct color but looks ok. The paint work covered up no rust or accident issues it was solely to correct the clear coat fade. It looks good but at a cost of $5832.00 it's not the quality of a concours vehicle that'll be in Monterey but it's not too bad either. All body panels are original and have the VIN stickers and all original Toyota Glass. Please look closely at the detailed photos to judge this Cruiser and see if it's for you. I have sold many nice Land Cruisers and vintage 4x4's here on eBay with super happy buyers so bid and buy with confidence. As is where is sale. No warranties expressed, written or implied.
