Vehicle Detail
A little about me before you start reading. I like to include ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING I know about items I'm selling because I can't stand thieves, liars and hustlers. So with that said, let me tell you what I have to sell: I have for sale a 2000 Chevy Silverado that has been extremely customized and can be one of the baddest trucks in NYC. However, it does need to be finished by someone who can continue what I am not. There are two reasons I am letting this beautiful truck go. I already have another Silverado that I love to death and I had a 1960's muscle car drop into my lap and I have dreams of 600+HP muscle under my butt. So, as with everything there are positive and negative with every project and I will list them now. Exterior: +ABSOLUTELY ZERO RUST!!!!!! Very important for a northern vehicle. +Cadillac Escalade whole body conversion (the first I have ever seen) +Air bag suspension with C notch rear to nearly lay the frame down. All bags are brand new +Custom painted engine bay +Bed rug (this truck was never meant to haul anything) +22" Cadillac chrome rims plastidip black and copper(the chrome was flaking so I dipped them) I did 2 black and 2 copper to see what I liked best. You can paint over the ones you don't like or peel them.+Painted calipers(Red) +Euro Escalade EXT smoked tail lights +The vehicle is plastidip now but underneath is a extremely detailed airbrush red and black paint job. Not my taste but nice. +Tinted rear and side windows +Heat works great. The A/C needed a charged when I purchased it. I charged it and it worked very well but I'm not sure why it was low to begin with. The good thing is the system works so the worst thing is it may have a leak. +transmission shifts perfectly(engine info below). +Nearly band new low profile tires. However, I've notice a slow leak in two of them. +Roll pan rear bumper. (Needs to be secured on but no damage to it. Overall the exterior is in great shape with a some small bondo damage on the top of the bed rails(see pic) and peeling plastidip in spots. Other then that its pretty perfect. +Probably more but I forget. Interior: +Custom painted seats, dash, door panels, sun visors and carpet(see pic) +Double din conversion for a double din radio +Cadillac decal and emblems of seat rest and steering wheel +LED light bulbs in interior +power everything and it all works +no rips, tears or stains anywhere in the interior +Probably more but I forget. OK. Now for the "project" part of the project vehicle. There are two thing wrong with the truck. One,The engine runs rough with a P300 code (random misfire). It doesn't drive well so I would suggest towing it home to prevent hurting it. You can start it and listen to it when you come see it. Two, there is a electrical issue with the dash board. None of the gauges work except the oil pressure gauge. These two things I was going to tackle when I finished the other stuff but the muscle car thing happened. The story with this truck is that many years ago it was stolen and stored for over a decade (yes, over 10 years). It was found, legally sold to the person I purchased it from and had all the dry rotted items(air bag, tires, etc) replaced and put back on the street. NOW, the story is this truck has only 39K original miles on it. I have been over this truck with a fine tooth comb and a history report does support this story which is amazing. I can believe it. This is still a awesome truck with thousands of dollars invested in it and you will not see another one like it anywhere with these modifications and extremely low mileage. This truck is listed locally so the auction may end suddenly. I took a lot of pictures so you wouldn't be surprised with anything so please look at them and ask any and all questions. No questions are stupid when you spending thousands of dollars. UPDATE: eBay rules say I have to list the title as salvage because it was a theft recovery as I stated above. However, the current title is clean. Thank You
