Vehicle Detail
This is probably a huge mistake on my part, however; I am selling my 1995 Ford F350 XLT, 4 door Crew Cab, Long Bed truck. These are highly prized and this is a nice example. This has the 7.3 liter Turbo Diesel, automatic transmission with Tow selector. This truck has full 5th wheel rails installed with Reese Hitch under bumper. I have the gooseneck, 2 5/16" plate and ball that fit into the rails, that go with the truck. I have installed a complete Alpine bluetooth/CD player with Alpine speakers. This truck has low miles at 234,000 and they have been gentle miles. This truck was previously used to transport a race car prior to my ownership and I have used it primarily to haul an aluminum 3 horse trailer short distances for vet purposes. I have owned the truck for over 2 years and it has been absolutely trouble free. It was dark green originally and was painted white at some point prior to my ownership. It has a small amount of rust on the front passenger side wheel well, driver's side rear door seal and driver's side rear bed, at the very bottom. This rust is very minor in my opinion but I want to disclose it. There has been not frame rust that I am aware of and I have been under this truck for service. There is of course the typical surface rust. The seats are all good with the exception of a small burn spot on the driver's seat. I have had covers on them since I have owned it. A tree limb fell and hit the hood at the previous owner's home. It created a crease in the hood and causes the edges of the hood to not line up. It has not created any problems and I have not tried to adjust it. I have maintained this truck with Lucas products and have kept it serviced well. The prior owner was a race car driver and maintained the truck the same way. This truck is the typical 7.3 and will need plugged in during the cold weather. I keep it plugged in and it fires up like in the summer. It does not use oil, antifreeze, brake fluid, power steering fluid. I have replaced the brakes, tires, master cylinder, rear wheel cylinders, batteries, and probably more that I am forgetting in the past year. I just installed new fuel delivery lines from the fuel pump to the the heads. It has a 6 position, power selector upgrade that gives you adjustable horsepower up to an extra 90 horsepower. All the glass is good with a rear slider window. This truck runs extremely well and runs cool. I have never had it get over a 1/4 on the temperature gauge. The windows all work. I think the back passenger window is getting a little slow. The A/C was disconnected when I got it and I have never messed with it. I assumed it does not work and would expect that the clutch is locked if it is disconnected. I would plan on a new clutch or compressor. The heat works excellent, as do all the buttons and gauges. I just completed an oil change with Lucas at 234000 miles. It is getting between 14 to 16 miles to the gallon, which is awesome for this size of vehicle. I have driven it to Southwest Florida and back and drive it daily. It handles and drives effortlessly and stops just as well as it drives. It's a good looking truck that gets a lot of compliments and I have had lots of offers when I have been out and about in it. The only reason I am selling is that I have purchased a newer truck that does not have the dually wheels. My wife would not drive the dually because it was too wide. My loss, someone else's gain. I also have a new in the box air deflector for the hood and new in the box euro style tail lights. This vehicle is being sold As-Is, Where-Is with not warranties or guarantees expressed or implied. It is 23, soon to be 24 years old. That already makes it a classic and it will be an antique in just 1 1/2 years. These trucks in the 4 door, 7.3 are highly, highly sought after and are getting very rare. This one has not been beat on and has been taken care of. Do not miss your chance. I am going to miss it and will probably live to regret selling it. No reserve auction, the highest bid will own it. Please have your shipping or transportation arranged. I will not pay or arrange for shipping. I will accommodate the best I can. There is no hurry to pick it up, I have plenty of room. I will expect a deposit immediately at auction end and full payment within 7 days of auction end. If you have a rating of less than 10, please contact me to verify you identity prior to bidding. If you do not, I reserve the right to cancel your bid and block you from my auction. I will accept Cash, PayPal, or ACH direct transfers. All other forms of payment will take up to 30 days to clear and I will not release the vehicle until payment actually clears my bank. Thanks and have an awesome day!
