Vehicle Detail
This is one of my favorite cars I have ever owned. The previous owner had told me the car was turned down to about 500whp and I have never had it taken back up. It is fully built to run more boost and 625whp as it was with previous owner. Tons and tons of fun and built by previous owner with no cost cutting at all its a fantastic build as you will see when you arrive to see it. I simply have not had time to play with it as much as I wanted. I have put about 150 miles on the car to and from work but with a new car arriving and this being the last garage space it has to go. It has never seen snow or salt or even rain and has been in a heated garage since I purchased it at the start of the year. Straight to the problem areas then the good stuff -clutch is one of the hardest clutches to drive I’ve seen. Works completely fine but you will have no left leg sitting in traffic just FYI this is not a commute car. Clutch is also terribly noisey and sounds worse when cold. I promise this is normal and it’s almost a new build entirely, it’s just a very aggressive set up as my Evo does exactly the same until it’s disengaed or warmed up. -boost gauge has been faulty on and off and now has stopped working altogether. - it is losing a tiny tiny bit of power steering fluid through the custom tank breather hole each time I take it out. I do believe its because I take 5-6 attempts to get it back in my garage space that it needs to go in and it’s unfortunately lock to lock. Not ideal with a drag Golf with drag radials on the front and a clutch that is an off switch ha but there you go. All the food below which has less than 1000 miles TOTAL on everything. Thanks for looking and open to sensible offers and very very reasonable reserve. Car located in Monticello NY 12701. Cash or check is fine but funds must clear before car is picked up. Coolant , OEM VW G12 Pink Tuner Info The best guy for tuning ViPec is Kevin Black aka Lugnutsbelow is every possible way to contact himwww.lugtronic.comlugtronic@gmail.comlugnuts9@msn.comCell 717-383-6576https://www.facebook.com/Lugtronic/https://www.facebook.com/kevin.black.75873 NotesThe Aim digital dash is fully programmable; due to the crazy size tires I run the speedo off a gps unit attached dash via can bus. I have a hub for the can under the dash so you can setup other inputs such as a lap timer or additional sensors. In the glove box you will find a cd with the software to play with this along with an off white usb cable ran through the dash into the glovebox you plug into a computer to interface with the dash. The black usb cable in the glovebox is for the ViPec (note when you are plugged into the computer the dash will not update as you drive you must rely on the dash in the vipec software when plugged in). Since the car has a twin disk clutch now and the heavy dual mass flywheel is gone the clutch makes noise , they all do this , not just mine , it is more noticeable when it is cold but goes away once you are in gear or press the clutch. Filling CoolantSince there is no stock thermostat housing in order to fill the coolant you must take off this large coolant hose on the side of the metal housing and fill through there. Trust me it is the only way to do it properly. Also the majority of the factory hoses have been replaced with AN fitting so if you do not already have one I suggest you invest in a set of AN wrenches so you do not scratch up all the fittings. Kill SwitchI had wires for the kill switch ran to the back of the car , was not sure where I would put a NHRA style cutoff so I decided to just put a kill switch somewhere out of sight, the way it is depressed in the pic is the off position. I leave the car like this when I do not drive it. On Jan-01-19 at 17:41:46 PST, seller added the following information: Reserve Dropped to $14,500 so next bid will make the car sell. Please note I got stuck in Florida for the next few weeks with work and have title in my my back by accident so will be delay on transfer unless DYING to pick up then my brother can do exchange with DMV certified Bill of Sale and I can fedex signed title to address. Thanks and good luck
