Vehicle Description Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that...  I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honeslty to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to check out each of the 70+ photos and read this entire written description, as well as our Terms & Conditions, carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LS. I would rate the exterior of this Silverado to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking truck. It is finished in Pewter over Dark Charcoal, which is a good color for these trucks. The finish has a deep shine and looks smooth all around. As with any older truck, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. On this specific Silverado, you'd be hard pressed to find anything worth complaining about. As with all of these, there is some visible rust on the rear fenders and rockers, but nothing even close to bad compared to most others of this age and mileage. Again, please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean this truck came in. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and tail gate all open and close easily. All of the trim and moldings are present and show well. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory wheels show well and are wrapped in nice rubber all around. This truck has a soft cargo cover and the bed is fully carpeted, so you know this truck probably never worked a day in its life. I would also rate the interior of this Silverado to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDTION for its age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The dash and headliner are clean. The carpets are clean and full looking throughout the interior. The cloth seats are clean, comfortable and show virtually no wear. The power windows, locks and mirrors all work properly. The audio system has been upgraded with an aftermarked CD player and sounds good through the factory speakers. The climate control system also appears to be working properly. It is too cold out to confirm that the air conditioner is cooling effectively but I can tell you that the heater works very well. The rear is accessble from small doors that open on both sides which allows easy access to your stuff or for rear passengers to enter or exit the cab. Again, please take your time and check out each of the photos to see how exceptionally clean the cab of this truck looks. Pride in ownership shows throughout this Chevy. Mechanically, this Silverado appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 5.3L V8 starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. I can't get over how nice this truck runs. When it's idling, you can barely hear it running. The V8 is smooth and makes plenty of power. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. If I'm being picky, you can feel some wear in the front bushings...but I'm really struggling to find something bad to say so I feel like I'm doing my job. The engine keeps perfect temperature and excellent oil pressure at all times. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with zero issues. The 4WD system is tested and working properly. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. If you're looking for an exceptionally clean Silverado, this one should be at the top of your list. It takes all of 10 seconds to figure out that this truck was someone's baby.
