1938 American Moto-Scoot Place of Origin: Chicago, IL, USA One of the earliest, rarest and cutest scooters built. The Chicago based manufacturer was in business from 1937 until 1947. The only suspension it had was the air in the tires. 1.5 H.P.. Very Rare, 1 of only 10 known to exist. Up for auction is a 1938 American Moto Scoot project gas scooter. Comes with most all the hard to find original cast parts, original wheels. As you can see the side tin panels are missing but can be made. This is a running scooter, setup with a non original 2hp Briggs and Stratton. Very rare scooter that I have only seen in Museums. No title. Will come with bill of sale. Local pick up is also okay.
