Vehicle Description Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that...  I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to check out each of the 70+ photos and read this entire written description, as well as our Terms & Conditions, carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a very clean 2002 BMW 530iA with the desirable factory //M Sport package and only 133k original miles. I would rate the exterior of this 530iA to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION. As you can see, this is a beautiful sedan. It is finished in Sterling Gray over matching Gray leather interior behind professionally tinted windows, which is a great color combination. The Gray finish shines nicely and looks as smooth as glass. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. However, you'd be hard pressed to find much worth complaining about as you walk around the exterior of this BMW...just a few marks on the bumper covers, etc. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. All of the trim and moldings are present and show well. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory optional xenon HID headlights do an excellent job at lighting up the road in front of you at night. The two piece BBS wheels are specific to the Sport Package and show well for their age, with just some cosmetic wear visible. This 530i Sport is wearing a matching set of Continental Sport tires with good tread all around. Pride in ownership shows throughout this low mileage E39. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean this 530i came in. I would also rate the interior of this 530i to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The dash and headliner are clean, too. The carpets are clean and full looking throughout the interior. Both front seats are power operated and heated. The deeply bolstered leather sport seats come with the factory Sport Package and show well for their age. The one cable in the driver's seat is bound up, which is common with these. It can be unwound and repaired without having to replace any parts. The power windows, locks, seats, mirrors and sunroof all work. Throughout the interior, wood accents give the cabin a luxurious feel. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The heater works well and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. The audio system is original and sounds good through the factory speakers. There are steering wheel audio controls, too. Again, pride in ownership shows throughout this 530i Sport. The trunk is spacious and clean. A full set of floor mats, the original tool kid and a matching spare are included. Mechanically, this BMW appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 3.0L inline six cylinder engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too...with just a little pulsation evident under hard braking from highway speed. It's pretty minor so I wouldn't call it an immediate concern...just know you'll have new brake pads somewhere in your future. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. The big straight six feels smooth and there is plenty of power on tap. Near the end of my road test, the check engine light came on. I plugged my scan tool into it to retrieve the code for you, as I always do, but my scanner said there were no codes. Confused, I went out of it and went in from another way and it still said there were no active codes...despite the engine light being on. I've never encountered that before. When I parked the car, the light was on so assume it'll be on when you pick it up. I cannot feel anything that impacts driving. This 530i makes great power and the engine pulls strong right up to redline with absolutely no hesitation. The five speed adaptive drive automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts perfectly with zero issues. This 530i Sport is a blast to drive and is all there. With just 133k original miles, this BMW is just broken in. E39 cars make perfect drivers. They retain just enough of the old school connected feel that BMW is known for but also has just the right amount of luxury and comfort features.
