Vehicle Description Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that...  I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to check out each of the 70+ photos and read this entire written description, as well as our Terms & Conditions, carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix GT. I would rate the exterior of this Grand Prix to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. This is a decent looking vehicle overall. It is finished in black over black leather interior, which is a good color combination. The finish is acceptable for its age but does show some fading. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. All of the trim and cladding is present and shows well. There are the usual scratches, scrapes and other blemishes that should be expected with an older vehicle with higher mileage. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in nice rubber with good tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos so you have accurate expectations as to the physical condition of this Grand Prix. I would also rate the interior of this Grand Prix GT to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards are tight and show well for their age. The dash and headliner also show well. The carpets are acceptable throughout the interior. The leather seats show some wear but are comfortable. The driver's seat is power operated and heated. The power windows, locks, seats and mirrors all work well. The sunroof does not work. The audio system is original and sounds good through the factory speakers. There are steering wheel audio controls, too. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. It is too cool out to confirm that the air conditioner is cooling effectively but the heater works very well. The trunk is spacious and clean. Again, please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. Mechanically, this Grand Prix appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 3.8L V6 starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. It is worth noting that the low coolant light was on when this Grand Prix came in. It's hard to see into the expansion tank but I did add until I knew it was full so there may be a coolant leak, although I've not seen one or smelled coolant. I wanted to be sure to disclose that possibility just in case. Her road manners are good. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. The 3800 V6 is nearly indestructible and has been a staple in the GM family for decades. The engine makes plenty of power and feels smooth going down the road. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with zero issues. If you're looking for a car that will just run and run, anything with a 3800 V6 is a good choice. Of all the vehicles that came with this engine, the Grand Prix is the best looking in my opinion.
