Vehicle Detail
Hello - I am selling my 06 Chevy Impala. I bought this for my daughter but, she accepted a job in another state so I am selling it. The car is in good shape. It has no rust but it does have a small dent on the front hood from a deer. This can be pulled out but, I did get an estimate for $375 to have it fixed. We were going to fix it but we decided to sell it. I recently put in new front brakes and rotors. 1 new rear caliper and a starter. I also replaced the resonator and a most of the evaporator sensors (except for the charcoal box) and the AC clutch. The check engine light but has been off for a couple of months so I think it is fixed. The only thing I would also do to the car is do a wheel alignment and maybe buy new rear tires but, the tires are overall in good condition. I also want to mention that sometimes when you put it in revers you hear a small clunk but, my mechanic said that is normal on some older cars and the transmission works fine. My Buick also makes a similar sound so I do think it is OK. Also, I bought a new fan belt but, never put it on because the one that is on the car is in good shape and I also about 2 weeks ago a new door vent actuator(which opens and closes the recirculate vent) but I haven't yet put it on because it really doesn't matter because I always keep the fresh air vent open so the windows dot fog up plus it got cold in NY. If it gets warm ill put it in but its an easy job with gust 2 screws behind the glove box. Also, The catch on the center armrest cracked off so the arm rest top doesn't lock closed (this is a easy fix) and the is a small scrape on the rear bumper. Also, when we got the car the previous owner glued the drivers side visor to the head liner. I replaced the visor so it is fixed but there is glue up on the headliner (which you can not see if the visor is in the up position (no big deal but I just wanted to mention everything). I think I listed everything wrong so you know everything. Everything else with the car is good I was thinking of keeping the car but I already have 6 cars and just re received another car. My wife says we have to sell some cars because we are getting killed with the insurance bill. I am is Suffern NY, if you want to test drive it let me know. Pick up from Suffern would be great, Thanks, John Feane On Nov-24-18 at 04:57:16 PST, seller added the following information: Hello I forgot to mention that there a few windshield wiper marks on the windshield from running the wipers in the winter with no washer fluid. I was going to change it but my daughter said it is no big deal. Just wanted to mention, Thanks
