My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I perosnally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that...  I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to check out each of the 60 photos carefully and read this entire written descrption, as well as our Terms & Conditions, carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 1996 BMW 328iC with just 72k original miles. E36 cars are getting pretty hard to find. While having very low miles, this example is not perfect so please be sure to read carefully and look over each of the photos closely. I would rate the exterior of this BMW to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. Although this is a low mileage vehicle, please keep in mind that it is over 20 years old. It is finished in red over black with a matching black soft top, which is a great color combination. The red finish shines well for its age and looks smooth all around. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. On this specific E36, there is a visible scrape mark in front of the RR wheel and minor damage visible just off the fender lip of the LR wheel. Again, both of these should be visible in the photos so please look carefully. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open easily. All of the trim and moldings are present and show well. The convertible top appears to be in good condition for its age. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a matching set of rubber with average tread all around. Again, please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. I would also rate the interior of this BMW to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards are clean and show well for their age. The dash and headliner are clean, too. The carpets are clean and full looking throughout the interior. Both front seats are power operated and heated. The leather seats show well for their age, too. The power windows and seats work properly. The power mirrors do not work and the button to the central locks is stuck. This BMW has an Alipne in-dash CD player, but it is not hooked up. There is a factory CD changer in the trunk, too. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. It is too cold to confirm that the air conditioner is cooling effectively but the heater works well. The power convertible top does not work. My guess would be a faulty sensor somewhere. When you push the button, it won't even try...nothing happens. The trunk is spacious and clean. Again, please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. Mechanically, this BMW appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.8L inline six cylinder engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good for an older vehicle. The suspension feels nice and tight. Steering and braking feel good, too. The engine keeps good temperature and feels strong. The check engine light came on during my road test. The fault code was for coolant temp insufficient for closed loop. Whatever that means, it seems to have no impact on how the car drives. Out on the road, she feels solid and stable. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with zero issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. If you're looking for an exceptional E36 car to cruise around in, you know how hard they are to find. While this one isn't quite concours ready, it is an excellent foundation to owning an increasingly rare and desirable vehicle. Look at where the E30 prices are. Think of what a 70k mile E30 is worth! Those vehicles have plateau'd in price and the E36's are starting to come up as a result of how expensive a clean, low mile E30 is. This car will need a little TLC, but she's not too far off from being one of those vehicles. If I had the time, I would probably make this perfect and keep it. Unfortunately, falling in love with every cool car I get tends to be an expensive habit...so I force myself to cut them loose. I truly hope this low mile 328iC will go to someone who will take care of all the little things and keep this car forever. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
