....Very nice 1929 Ford Model A 5 Window Coupe. Just finished extensive rehab of the car. Installed new tires, tubes and rim strips, checked all the wheel bearings, suspension components and adjusted the mechanical brake linkages. Oil is super clean, changed the oil six times in 100 miles, trans and differentials cleaned, drained and flushed. The starter was rebuilt, along with the new starter switch. We removed all the old wiring and installed a factory correct wiring harness. All the electrics work well. Installed new lighting and electrical switch at the bottom of the steering tube. Rebuilt horn and steering wheel switch. New plugs, condensor, rotor and tune up including adjusting the throttle linkages and spark advance levers. New 6V battery, cleaned and painted the battery box and a new brake light switch installed. Fiberglass fenders. New front wood floors installed and new rubber boots for the shifter and hand brake. Radiator removed, boiled out and cleaned, polished, painted and new hoses installed. FREE ENCLOSED SHIPPING ANYWHERE IN THE LOWER 48 WITH BUY IT NOW. The head was removed, cleaned, installed a new head gasket. The head milled flat and all bolts were re-torqued. Installed new clutch, throw out bearing, pilot bearing and new fly wheel. All the hardware for the trans mounts were replaced. Replaced all the hardware for the rear drive shaft mounting to the transmission. All new fiber and paper seals installed. Shifts through all gear smoothly. Adjusted all the brake rods and linkages. Stops very smoothly. Cleaned the fuel tank and installed new gas filter and a backup filter. I have good title issued by New Jersey state DMV, they inspected the car and issued a road worthy title. There was absolutely no indication of why there was a salvage title, we went over every inch of the frame and body. The second title was issued in 1993. The previous salvage title could have been issued in the 1960s or 1970s and the state DMV could not provide any info on why there was a salvage tittle. All work was documented by a well respected vintage mechanic. All replacement parts were purchased thru A-Fordable Model A Parts and Brattons Model A Shop. All work shop manuals, parts catalogs and receipts will go with the car.
