Vehicle Description Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that... I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honsetly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to check out each of the 70+ photos and read this entire written description, as well as our Terms & Conditions, carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2007 Cadillac DTS. The DTS was the flagship sedan of the Cadillac family during this period. I would rate the exterior of this DTS to be in POOR CONDITION for its age and mileage. I will get right to the bad so we can get it out of the way. The paint on the entire right side of this car looks terrible. I don't know the back story, but it doesn't even look close to good. It looks like maybe it was lightly damaged along the side, or maybe even keyed, at some point. It looks as if the damage was repaired but the side was never repainted. This should be obvious by looking at the photos, but I want to make sure I double disclose it. I'm not a body expert, but it looks to me like it just needs painted on that side and she's good to go. That being said, the rest of the finish looks pretty good. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. The grill insert has been upgraded with a wire mesh insert, which really makes this car stand out. The factory chrome wheels shine like mirrors. Tire tread is average Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. I would rate the interior of this DTS to be in BELOW AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The dash and headliner are clean. The carpets show some age but are acceptable. Both front seats are power operated, heated and cooled. As you can see, the front seats show some wear. The power windows, locks, seats, mirrors and sunroof all work properly. The audio system is original and sounds good through the factory speakers. The audio system is controlled through the optional factory touch screen display with integrated GPS navigation. Everything with the touch screen system appears to be working properly. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The heater works well and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. The cargo area is spacious and clean. Rear passengers have plenty of room. Again, please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. Mechanically, this DTS appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 4.6L Northstar V8 starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. The front bushings are noticeably worn and need replaced in the very near future. You can feel this over rough surfaces or under braking load. The engine feels strong and smooth. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with zero issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with no complaints aside from the aforementioned worn out bushings. This car has potential. Replace the bushings up front, paint the right side and invest in a nice pair of seat covers to match the interior and you'll have a nice car. If you want a nice big luxury sedan and you're willing to give this one a little love, you can have a nice ride on the cheap. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
