Very rare, stunningly beautiful trials motorcycle from the mind of the legendary John Penton. This bike is mostly original in excellent condition, even down to the correct Doherty grips. Starts on first/second kick and shifts perfectly. No tears in the original saddle. New trials tires. The polished body parts (tank, fenders, side panels, chain guard, etc.) were hand-crafted from aluminum by the W.E.(Ted) Wassel Ltd. motorcycle manufacturing company in Staffordshire, England, where the bikes were assembled. Motor number stamped on engine tag is 6773726 (Fichtel & Sachs AG Schweinfurt). Frame number stamped on steering head is W553ST. You guys with the old bike fever already know the story of this model. For those who don't, please research the Wassel-Penton. This bike continues to climb in value, with one selling at Bonham's Auction in 2014 for $4,370.00. Vintage motorcycles of this quality and rarity don't come along every day. Sold with "Bill of Sale", since this is an off-road motorcycle. Sold in "as is" condition.
