Vehicle Description Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that... I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to check out each of the 70+ photos and read this entire written description, as well as our Terms & Conditions, carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe LS 4x4 with just 165k miles. I would rate the exterior of this Tahoe to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking truck. It is finished in Pewter over Gray cloth interior. The finish shines nicely and looks smooth all around. As with any older truck, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. On this truck, there is a scrape mark visible around the right tail light. You can probably see it in the photos if you look closely. Also, the front bumper is pushed in a little in the center. Again, this is visible in the photos. Overall, there is no damage present that I would consider out of the ordinary for an SUV of this age and mileage. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and tail gate all open and close easily. All of the trim and moldings are present and show well. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well for their age and are wrapped in nice rubber. Tire tread is on the thin side of average all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. I would also rate the interior of this Tahoe to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The dash and headliner are clean, too. The carpets are thick and full looking throughout the interior. The cloth seats are clean, comfortable and show minimal wear. The power windows, locks and mirrors all work properly. The audio system is original and sounds good through the factory speakers. The climate control system also appears to be working properly. The heater works well and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. This Tahoe also has rear heating and air conditioning to keep the entire cabin comfortable. The cargo area is spacious and clean. Again, please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. Mechanically, this Tahoe appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 5.3L Vortec V8 starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good for an older truck. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Over rough surfaces, you can hear a little rattle in the front bushings...but nothing terrible. On normal roads, she handles well. Steering and braking feel good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature and holds excellent oil pressure at all times. The V8 feels strong and smooth. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with zero issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. The 4WD system is tested and working properly. If you're looking for a full sized 4WD SUV, a Chevy Tahoe should be at the top of your list. Now (before it starts getting cold) is the time to pick up a 4x4.
