Vehicle Detail

Service Records Included. Im not a used car salesman, this has been my daily driver for the last ~5 years, I love this car, but it needs a little work and my mom is giving me hers because I have to drive back to the west coast soon and hers has less miles. The Element runs and drives, but (I think) needs a CV axle, which would be ~$500-600 to replace. Symptoms are when the engine is warm, she has trouble getting moving from a dead stop. It can be driven from where it is, but I recommend towing. The Clutch was replaced last year, and I replaced the rear driveshaft 4 months ago before I knew it was the CV axle. Motor mounts were replaced ~4 months ago as well. Check Engine light goes on and off, my mechanic told me it is an issue with the gas cap, but I can't speak to that. Other issues are a chip in the windshield, and the locking cylinder for the driver door is seized. To ameliorate this issue I installed a Genuine Honda remote keyless entry. There are also a number of little scratches and dents(see photos). Drivers side door has a nice scratched lip along the side, and rear passenger door was repainted but needs to be buffed to match the rest of the vehicle better(see photos). Also the read drivers side wheel has chip in the aluminum and the vehicle could use a good cleaning(I killed a lot of bugs on the way back to the East coast:). The airbags were replaced after the recall, but the light is still on, if you take it to Honda for service I'm sure they could help out with this. Also pictured -- the Drivers rear rocker panel does not match the trim package(it never bothered me so I never replaced it, but they look to be ~$80 on eBay). I had the oil changed before I left Portland, so it could use another change, but it did drive pretty well across the country last week. Again, it just has trouble getting moving from a dead stop. Some extras I put on were a hitch(only used to transport bicycles). I bought 2 sets of Aluminum Genuine Honda S2000 rims to make a matching set and put Goodyear Eagles on them that have about 40-45% tread left. I also custom lasered feet for the roof rack so that I could mount my Thule heavy bars to the to without spending $400 for the proprietary Thule ones. I made them out of thick stainless -- they will last forever. :) The seat covers aren't great, but they look better than the bare seats do. I will also include the Offroading gear Awning. The accessories/ additions I made to the vehicle alone cost around $2000. The vehicle needs some love, but I think will do very well for the next owner once serviced. The Thule Cargo Carrier is NOT INCLUDED in this sale, Im sorry but I need it to transport stuff back to the West coast. Again, Cargo Carrier NOT INCLUDED. Please feel free to ask any questions, or come check it out and take it for a spin. 215.8THREE4.4010 Vehicle has been well maintained and cared for and has been very good to me. Note: I do have the rear seats even though they are not pictured, I just need to pick them up from my house in Philly. If you win the auction, please do not pay via PayPal as I'm giving the proceeds of the auction to my mom for her car. Bidding starts at the price I paid for the tires. Good luck!
