Vehicle Description Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that... I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to check out each of the 70+ photos and read this entire written description, as well as our Terms & Conditions, carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2004 Audi A4 Quattro with the desirable six speed manual transmission and under 100k miles. I would rate the exterior of this Audi to be in BELOW AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking sedan overall. It is finished in blue over gray leather interior, which looks good. Up close, you can see a bunch of rub marks on the bumper covers as well as a noticeable scrape on the RR fender. This is all commensurate with what I would describe as a "city car"...low mileage and great mechanical condition but more exterior wear than you'd normally expect for the mileage. The body itself is nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a nice set of matching Continental Sport tires with good tread all around. As a side note, these are excellent tires. I run them on my personal car. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. I would rate the interior of this A4 to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The dash and headliner are clean, too. The carpets show well for their age throughout the interior. Both front seats are heated. The leather seats are clean, comfortable and show well for their age. The power windows, locks, seat, mirrors and sunroof all work properly. The audio system is original and sounds good through the factory speakers. The climate control system is fully automatic and offers independent temperature settings for both the driver and passenger. The heater works well and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. The only bad thing I can really say about the interior of this A4 is that the lid to the arm rest is broken, which is normal wear for these cars. The trunk is spacious and clean. Again, please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. Mechanically, this Audi appears to be in good running and driving condition. The turbocharged 1.8L engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are excellent. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. The only thing bad I can say about this Audi is that the coolant temp gauge does not work. The turbo spools up quickly and the engine makes great power, just like it should. Acceleration is smooth and quick. This Audi is an absolute blast to drive. The clutch engages smoothly and does not slip or chatter. Gear changes through the desirable six speed manual transmission are clean and precise, just like they should be. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. Quattro AWD gives this A4 SUV-like grip during bad weather and sports car-like handling through curves. Quattro is a purely mechanical AWD system with roots in Audi's successful rally racing during the 80's. Quattro is a simple viscous coupling AWD system, which makes it tough as nails and exponentially more reliable than the electronic AWD systems used by other auto makers. If you're looking for a rock solid car that is fun, reliable and capable, this A4 Quattro deserves your serious consideration. Low miles and the rare six speed manual transmission make this Audi is a very desirable automobile. I'm sure there are more cosmetically perfect ones out there if you want to pay for perfection.
