Vehicle Detail
Originally green/black 383 4bbl 4 speed, bucket seat (with headrest) hardtop, air grabber car. Engine: NEW /Fresh 440 (o miles) Casting Date 69/72 stamped from a C Body. Engine: 44O .30 over- New Steel Crank, Cam/Cam bearings/Stock rods/Rod bearings... Freeze Plugs, line honed, Plugs Wires... everything new and setup for the six pack. Heads totally rebuilt. ready to drop in. (does need a new water pump). Have Hi-Po manifolds as well as standards. ( Those need powder coated) Also includes used set of headers as well as multiple 4 barrel intakes, both iron, and aluminum (edelbrock). Complete 440 Six pack Included. Cast Base. 70's Carbs. Pulled from running car, but i would rebuild carbs to make them right. Have rebuild kit. Air cleaner base modified slightly... I have an New fiberglass A12 Baseplate for the hood. Have NOS Air cleaner cover (not shown). A12 lift off hood/correct carb base. was told early reproduction. Hand Laid. not drilled, has some repairs.... but in very good shape. Never mounted.. the dings and ships are probably from storage. Car comes with complete air grabber hood assembly but it's in average shape with some broken clips here and there. Hood has some rust underneath. Car has both new quarters, trunk, rear valence, and inner rear fenders installed. Needs finished. Probably a weekend of final welding and cleanup. All metal filler used on seam that was fully welded. Hard work is done. Rockers and Frame are SUPER solid. Doors are solid. There are some small holes in floor, but doesn't need floors. Shift tunnel needs repaired as it's been cut for some reason. Front Fenders are decent, but probably quicker to replace them. Inner fenders solid. firewall solid. Glass is all decent, windshield is broken. I believe that other than maybe a few emblems and bolts and small things like that, this is a complete car. Rolls easily. ALL of the hard to find parts are there and are in decent restorable shape. Rear window has rust/holes around window edges. Currently the worst part of the car. Have entire bucket seat/headrest interior. It's all going to need redone, but it's all there and it's all original. Haven't pulled covers off for build sheets. (No fender tag.) 1968 383 Long Block/ 23 Spline 4 speed included with car. Trans is good. Motor is a core and of unknown condition, but spins freely. (no intake). 8 3/4 rear, Sure Grip. 3:55(?) gears. (Spun it over on jacks, both rear spin same direction...but haven't pulled numbers. (looks to be the original rear. ) This is a project... but if you know what you're looking at its a car worth doing. Sort of a greatest hits for a roadrunner enthusiast.... being a bucket seat/4speed/hardtop car. I have build sheets for the motor work and have almost 9000 in that, and the six pack alone. The shop who did the motor work had it fired up and tuned (with a 4 barrel) and is good to go. I prefer texts for more information. 330.495.3756 500.00 deposit due at purchase with no exceptions. I am familiar with shipping, and happy to help in that regard. Prefer Wire transfer, or Cash at pickup. Ohio Title in hand.
