KEVIN WINDHAM’S TEAM PUERTO RICO MXoN HONDA CRF450R RACE BIKE The very foundation of MXoN’s 2018 Team Puerto Rico was based off of the rider’s desire to create a team to help raise funds and provide some relief for the Puerto Rican people who still need our support. Pastrana is no stranger to giving back, especially within the moto industry. Now backed by this superstar team that includes Kevin Windham, Ryan Sipes, and Coach Ricky Johnson the team is positioned to help support the island community of Puerto Rico. Kevin Windham has decided that one way to help would be for him to donate the very bike that he will be racing for Team Puerto Rico. The bike will be delivered free of charge in the US only. Winner would be responsible for delivery outside the US. The 2019 Geico Honda CRF450R has the following upgrades: · ARC Clutch Perch Assembly· Cycra plastic· D'Cor GEICO Honda Windham MXoN graphic kit· D.I.D. X-Ring chain· Dirt Star STX rims· Factory Connection Pull Rod· Hinson Factory Connection Racing clutch cover· Kite Hubs· Pro Taper EVO Windham handlebars· Pro Taper 1/3 waffle grips· Pro Taper Race Spec sprockets· Twin Air air filter· Yoshimura RS-9T FS TI-TI-CF exhaust system Since the announcement of the seemingly fictitious yet star-studded team, there has been an overwhelming amount of support, interest and excitement surrounding them. While many fans questioned where their supporting funds would be utilized, the team held off on announcing where the supports would be sent out of concern the funds raised might fall into the wrong hands. Team Puerto Rico needed to find the perfect partner. Enter Global Disaster Outreach, a 501 c3 based in Kentucky, the ideal charity for Team Puerto Rico. Just weeks after Hurricane Maria devastated Puerto Rico, Global Disaster Outreach Founder and Director Ryan Lane was so moved by the devastating images of the countless people in need, he enlisted help from three of his friends, one including current GDO Vice President, Milton Santos whose family was directly affected by Maria. They emptied their bank accounts, loaded up their tools, and headed south to Puerto Rico intent on helping Milton’s family and lending a hand in any way they could. “To have the support of Global Disaster Outreach is huge. With their help, we can be sure the money we raise will go to use where it is needed most. Their experience on the island will help us make a real difference.” said Sipes on the new-found partnership with Global Disaster Outreach. “We’re dirt bike riders, not builders, but we all talked, and we’re not scared to swing a hammer, hand out food, or do whatever is needed.” Don’t miss the opportunity to own a piece of racing history while helping out the people of Puerto Rico who are still struggling from the devastating effects of Hurricane Maria. Road 2 Recovery will donate 100% of the funds raised to Global Disaster Outreach. This December, Lane and Global Disaster Outreach will lead Pastrana, Windham, Sipes and Johnson on a mission to Puerto Rico to put the funds raised to good use. The Road 2 Recovery would like to thank Kevin Windham, Geico Honda and the entire Puerto Rico MXoN Team, along with everyone at Global Disaster Outreach for their support of this auction.
