Listing for a friend, this 2007 Audi S6 quattro. 5.2 Liter V10. AWD. Perhaps a powertrain donor for your hot rod project? With a custom exhaust, this is one of the coolest sounding cars you will ever hear. This car has a version of the same V10 that is used in the Lamborghini Gallardo. This means the car pulls very strong, and with a custom exhaust, makes a very distinctive and exotic sound. People will stop you to find out what kind of engine could possibly make such an amazing sound. They are shocked to find out that this model came from the factory with this engine. If you are looking specifically for an S6 you know that they have two major issues. First is that direct injection means the valves do not get the fuel rinse that was once available to prevent oil from collecting on the valves. The cleaning is labor intensive and was completed less than 5K miles ago. The second issue is that the flaps in the intake manifold responsible for the variable runner length break and fall apart. Audi has revised the intake a few times now. This car has the latest version. At $1,800, plus a fair amount of labor, this is an important consideration when looking at these cars. These cars also tend to leak oil. This car still leaks oil. A bypass of the breather is a popular modification that should help. This car also has a check engine light that occasionally indicates misfire. Never anything than be felt while driving. Coil packs have been replaced so it is most likely due to a dirty injector. Cleaner may do the trick, but the car is simply not driven enough for this to take effect. The air conditioning does not blow cold, but it may just need charged. There is some minor damage to the right front fender where it meets the bumper as well as a scratch on the door. There is some minor bubbling on the front sills. These areas are all shown in the pictures. The wheels have some curb rash. One has a cosmetic bend to the lip from a pothole. Car runs and drives very well. This car is lots of fun but also has great luxury and all weather capability, all with a very exotic heart. The car is located in Cleveland very close to the airport.
