This is a low mileage 1982 Honda Gold Wing Aspencade in very good condition. The Aspencade model was based on the Goldwing Interstate, though with two-tone paint/seat, larger rear seat back rest with pockets, and an on-board air compressor. 1982 was the first year that Honda produced the Aspencade model. This thing also has all of the aftermarket chrome that you can add! Polished up real nice! Over the course of ownership I have performed many of the usual old Honda GL maintenance items, including:Carburetor set rebuilt using the Randakks Cycle Shack premium kit so it can run on ethanol fuel if needed in a pinch. Rankakks grips.Fuel tank removed and and thoroughly cleaned, with new OEM fuel sender unit gasket upon re-installation.New manifold O-rings.New timing belts and idler bearingsNew spark plugs.New water pump, thermostat, hoses and radiator is boiled out.Saddleman King and Queen seat. Drivers back rest, Passenger arm rests. Highway pegs, floor boards, I have the heel toe shifter, but do not use it. I have a tow hitch, but do not use it.4000 miles on the front and rear tires. I have a new rear Dunlop on order and it will be on by the end of the auction. Tire beads in both tires.In addition, I have performed regular scheduled maintenance items as appropriate,including replacing fuel/air filters at scheduled intervals, flushing/changing all fluids etc. I use Napa 5 year antifreeze and 10W-40 engine oil. Full LED conversion (except the lamps in the gauges)and that include the headlight, and all 6 auxiliary driving lights. Alternator has no issue pushing these at all.The bike runs well, starts immediately even after long winters, and idles smoothly. I run Marine Stabil (has lubricant) in my fuel on all my bikes year round, and store them for winter appropriately. It is always parked indoors, and covered in the garage in winter. The sealed interstate maintenance-free battery is about a year old and is hooked up to a trickle charger when the bike is parked. I ride this motorcycle routinely each year. Late last Fall I took it on a multi-day trip over several thousand miles withou tissue. Otherwise I ride it locally when the weather is nice and at highway speeds for extended periods. Air compressor holds air pressure for over a month.Radio works fine, but I use a blue tooth cassette adapter to play audio from my phone on it.I have not uses the CB or intercoms.Some negatives:I usually need to readjust one of the mirrors once a week or so. This is a typical issue with these fairing mounted mirrors.Fuel selector leaks a bit. Just looks lightly fuzzy from moisture. I have a new one, but have not installed it yet.This is a very good example of a low mileage ’82 GL 1100. I have described it as best as I can because I want you to know exactly what you maybe bidding on. It is not perfect – it is however, a well-preserved low mileage 36 year old bike with some minor scratches and issues that has been ridden conservatively and been well taken care of.Clear title. I have made a few short trips to verify new tire is fine. Balance is good to 80. It does not have the tire beads in the rear now, only front.I have installed the new fuel tank selector, so that has been repaired as well.
