It does not have the original motor. It now has a rebuilt 427 cubic inch Big Block Chevy V-8 that runs very strong! The engine compartment itself is nicely detailed. Cowl hood, original Misty Turquoise color with black SS stripes. Turbo 400 automatic transmission with 3000 stall converter. Rebuilt 12 bolt posi rearend. The brakes were just re-done. It has power steering, power front disc brakes, and tilt wheel. The truck is very straight. It does have some minor rust at the bottom of the fender and a few tiny bubbles on the front of the hood. The floorboards and frame are solid. The bed is very solid as well. The paint looks nice for a driver but does have plenty of imperfections. This is a driver, not a Show Car. The bumpers are nice. I have a BUNCH of extra parts that are included. You can have everything. Boyd Coddington wheels. The interior has bucket seats and center console with the Horseshoe shifter. The seats have been restored and are excellent. The dashpad and dash are very nice. Round SS gauges with in-dash tach. The headliner is nice. I have a carpet kit but it needs to be installed. This is a great driver but still needs some finishing. The gas gauge works but the other gauges do not. The inside of the bed was blasted five years ago but never primed so it has surface rust. It comes off easily and I had planned on having it Rhino Lined or installing a tonneau cover. However, once I do that if somebody wanted to prime it and paint it, the Rhinolining is nearly impossible to remove and a complete pain at the very least. I wanted to leave it up to the new owner. Needs the wiper motor installed but I have everything. Although I believe it to be, without a build sheet or the matching # motor, just like a Chevelle of this year, it is impossible to prove that it is a true SS. Anybody who tells you differently is just lying. It is not like the earlier ones that the VIN starts with 138. I think it is a real SS but I just want to be honest and upfront with anybody from the beginning. It is not priced like one either. This is a great deal for a fast, fun big block Chevy and will sell this first time advertised. It is far from perfect and you are not spending $50k so please be realistic with your expectations. Clean, clear CA title in hand with current 2018 tags. I am located in Cardiff, CA in North County Coastal San Diego.
