Vehicle Detail

I bought this car over 20 years ago as a project...it was just a stock bug then. The project got bigger than my budget, and so it sat. Then came college, marriage, kids...and still it sits. Recently, I discovered that mice had ruined the (brand new) carpet, so I had it removed and professionally detailed. It also got a dink in the driver door, who knows from what—20 years of sitting in my parent’s barn. It looks like a rodent chewed two holes in the brand new headliner also. It’s been rewired with a safe fuse block and modern wiring, the wires you see in the photos are for headlights turn signals and brake lights that you get to choose when you complete it. Rear fenders 3” wider than stock, has 245/60r15 rear tires and 195:60r14 front. Custom wheels. Front disc brake conversion (chevy bolt pattern rotors and hubs). I believe the rear drums were custom drilled with chevy bolt pattern. Front end was narrowed and lowered by race shop in Longmont, CO. Obviously, one piece front clip. Paint has some defects that you don't see right away. A little clouding in driver's door. Not sure if it needs buffed, or if painter buffed too much. There are a few places I've seen sanding marks in the right light. The car looks great, but it's not a $20k show paint job. All chrome and holes have been removed and filled. Brand new custom front seats, custom rear jump seat. 1 piece front windows. Stock 1500sp engine. To finish: Needs door strikers and electronic opening mechanisms, your choice of window crank or electric kit, turn signals and brake lights, front shocks. Carpet. Last time I hooked up a battery, put fuel in the tank and primed the carb it fired right up! Haven’t even tried in 10 years or more. Make this your baby, it’s too. nice to be sitting in a barn! Bring a trailer and a fistful of cash and take this awesome car home! Have a big tote of misc parts and stuff I've forgotten about to go with it too. I've probably got $15,000 into this car. I always figured I'd get it done and then drop a trick engine into it. Now it needs to be someone else's dream!
