Vehicle Description Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that... I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to check out each of the 70+ photos and read this entire written description, as well as our Terms & Conditions, carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2004 Jeep Liberty Sport 4x4. I would rate the exterior of this Jeep to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking Jeep. It is finished in Atlantic Blue over Gray interior with matching gray trim. The blue finish shines nicely and looks smooth all around. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. However, you'd be hard pressed to find much worth complaining about as you walk around the exterior of this Jeep. The plastic grill is cracked by the left headlight and there are a few small rust spots visible around the exterior, but nothing horrible. The body lines are all nice and straight. The hood, doors and tail gate all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. All of the trim and cladding is present and shows well. The factory steel wheels match the trim, which looks good. Tire tread is average all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. I would rate the interior of this Jeep to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The dash and headliner are clean, too. The carpets are clean and full looking throughout the interior. The seats are clean and comfortable. The power windows, locks and mirrors all work properly. The audio system is original and sounds good through the factory speakers. The volume knob doesn't always do what you tell it, which is annoying. The climate control system appears to be working properly. I'm sitting here at home writing this description trying desperately to remember whether or not the air conditioner worked on this Liberty and I can't remember so I'm going to just say that it doesn't work. You may come to pick it up and find that the air works for all I know...just don't count on it. The cargo area is spacious and clean. Again, please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. Mechanically, this Jeep appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 3.7L V6 starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good for an older truck. You can feel some wear in the front bushings when you drive over rough surfaces but the suspension feels tight, otherwise. Steering feels good. You do get a vibration in the front end under braking. Normally, I'd just say it needs front brakes but you may just be feeling the aforementioned worn bushings when extra load is applied to the front suspension during braking. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. The check engine light was on when this Jeep came in but the code was just a lean code so I cleared it. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with zero issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. The Jeep Liberty is a very capable little SUV. It has enough room inside to be very useful and enough clearance to also be capable in snow and off road.
