2003 Lincoln Aviator AWD 102,000 Miles What it Is: This is our 2003 Lincoln Aviator. It’s in great shape and is ready to drive anywhere. What’s the Story? : Well…..this is pretty simple. I bought my wife a new AWD SUV, so we are selling our Lincoln Aviator. The Aviator has been a great car and is fully LOADED. Lincoln did not build these cars for very long at all (20003-2005). If you do some research on the car they are essentially a LOADED Ford Explorer that has a huge engine (302hp) and is All Wheel Drive. In other words, it is a down-sized Lincoln Navigator. Condition: Overall, the condition is excellent. The mileage is only 102,000, but frankly it looks like it has half those miles on it. It runs, drives, steers, and brakes like it was new. Mechanically, the car is terrific. The leather interior is outstanding with very little wear marks even on the driver’s seat. The carpets are clean, and protected with WeatherTech floor mats and a cargo mat. Obviously, the car has been well-maintained and garaged. The electronics, A/C, CD / radio, power seats and windows all work as they should. The AC is ice cold. I know of nothing that needs to be repaired and would not hesitate to drive the car anywhere. There are a couple notable cosmetic blemishes on the car. On the rear lift gate, there is a small crack near the Lincoln logo that shows in the pictures. Also, on the driver’s door, the black finish near the key touch-pad is worn. To me, neither of these blemishes are bothersome. Best / Cool Features: The engine is very powerful. It is a version of the DOHC V-8 used in the Ford Mustang GT, fitted to a 5-speed automatic. The vehicle is rated to tow 7100 lbs., and it’s AWD!Fold-able 3rd-row seating with rear A/CRear center console.
